Edgewater uses a Leadership Team model for its leadership. Our Leadership Team consists of five to seven elected church members that meet each month to pray, discern, and review organizational and operational decisions for the church along with the Lead Pastor. New potential leaders are nominated in November or December and are voted upon at an annual meeting in January to serve a 1-3 year term.
Many members of Edgewater also are involved in ministries that are essential to our desire to be known in Pittsburg and its surrounding communities as the church that is present in our larger neighborhood.
Leadership can be modeled and recognized in anyone who is called to lead at any age, culture, or gender.
